The Autostop Eliminator is an intelligent device that plugs into the back of your vehicle's auto stop-start switch assembly. It restores your preference for auto start-stop automatically which eliminates the need to press the button after each ignition cycle.

Unlike diagnostic port solutions for GM vehicles, our device will not:
  • Disable the malfunction indicator light (check-engine light)
  • Drain the battery
  • Disable Active Fuel Management (AFM)

I just wanted to comment that I installed your module on my vehicle yesterday and was very impressed with the quality and the installation video was awesome. I couldn’t have done it so easily without watching the video first….. Awesome

Beautiful technology

This device is beautiful in operation, the engine has not shut off other than when desired since the installation. Speaking of installation the video does not include a diagram of the console where fasteners are located nor does it indicate the requirement for special tools. After coming to a point where I knew damage would result by going further, I asked my friend at the GMC garage to stop by. With the proper tool and knowledge he made short work of the installation. The device should have five stars, installation instructions three stars.

For others who may wonder about the fasteners, it's just the fasteners across the top of the side panels. There is a good view of left side at the 0:42 mark in the install video. For the right side, there is a view of those fasteners at about the 1:00 mark. Basically, you just want to make sure the side panels aren't still attached and holding down the top of the console.

I'm not aware of any special tools that are required. We only use the small screwdriver and cutters we show at the beginning of the video as the recommended tools (0:25 mark). We demonstrate the installation using only these tools.
